This collection began as a funny experiment in late 2024: art and food are two of the most basic things we need to survive.
The idea was to remind people how beautiful collaboration with an artist can still be in the age of AI.
At the same time, I wanted to show the reality of being an artist: you live to create, but you still need food - and if you can't afford it, you can always turn your hunger into art.
So I started creating tiny food artwork - miniature drawings inspired by the food we eat every day.
Over time, the project revealed a deeper meaning.
The original idea was simple:
Anyone could receive a miniature artwork for free and pay for it later by buying the same dish for the artist. But the concept almost failed because many people simply couldn't believe that art could really be given away for free - especially knowing there was a 99.9% chance they would never meet the artist in real life.
And that's when Art For Food became about something more.
This collection is not just about the relationship between an artwork and its collector. It's about trust in the modern world.
